Excellent!, the graphic details are amazing, good job.
Totally can't wait to read it! This looks like an awesome way to read Genesis. Of course conservatives will get miffed but the Bible is not as clean and tidy as they would want it. Later on, in chapter 25 I think, a dude pays his daughter-in-law for sex in a very casual manner.
R. Crumb is pretty cool. So is The Comic Torah. Where else could you find God as a green-skinned lady who is in love with Moses, and an anthropomorphization of the Land of Israel that will make your jaw drop? The Comi Torah is the result of several years' collaboration between husband and wife team, Aaron Freeman, comedian, and Sharon Rosenzweig, artist. See for yourselves-http://www.benyehudapress.com/catalog/ComicTorah/As one reader said: "The Comic Torah is blasphemous, wrong, accurate and addictive!"
Very cool. Will definetly check it out! I made a link to your blog from mine for the pictures. I am new to this blog thing and couldn't get them to load on my blog page. Hope thats ok.
Nice Work! As far as anthropomorphization goes...
Crumb is one of the best cartoonists of the twentieth century and this is a great book.I was kind of sour about it though since I just produced a local project with a similar genesis-oriented storyline and scratchy style, only this one is about a new original sin being sold by another animal every week.
